Deep Focus.

Behaviour that seems automatic is usually not random. It arises in response to something specific, at a moment when you could only partially anticipate it. Once formed, it often persists unless it is specifically adjusted.

The analytical brain reasons well with current information. It is less capable of revising conclusions it automatically drew long ago, without the full context.

Deep Focus is a structured method for revising those conclusions directly. Through conscious physical relaxation, mental interference is reduced enough to identify where a pattern originated, assess whether it still holds true, and revise it based on what you know now.

What this often reveals is behaviour based on outdated assumptions: formed long ago to help in a specific situation, then left unexamined once it stopped drawing attention.

"It is not a process of gathering more and more facts, but rather of unlearning bad habits and opinions."
